Box Sash – Timber

Windmill Windows offer exceptional timber box sash windows to the areas of Thame, Bicester and Oxford. Offering sublime aesthetics, traditional or contemporary furniture and a full range of glass decorations, these windows just fall into place whether it be a traditional or modern building.

Along with being beautifully made, the added benefit of timber is that the colour range on offer is down to you the customer and not a range on offer. We provide a standard range of colours but on top of that you can in essence choose any colour you like from the majority of colour ranges on the market. The windows all come fully finished from our manufacturers in the colour that you choose, whether that be a standard colour or a colour of your choice.

Our timber windows are of an exceptional quality providing modern security features whilst maintaining fantastic aesthetics. We offer both hardwood options, in Sapele and Oak, and also an engineered softwood, Accoya. Whilst both hardwood options are extremely durable, Accoya has a durability and stability equal to that of Class 1 hardwoods such as Teak. As with all timber box sash windows, security comes by the central fitch catch locks and then for additional security you have the option of full pop out security stops if required. A full range of furniture in choice of finishes compliments the windows perfectly with also the choice of run through horns externally if required.
