If you want to make a statement in your property Bi-Fold doors can provide the answer. With their 90% clear opening capability, they will open up rooms to light and space enabling you to bring the outside in or make a standard floor plan become open plan with the ease of one slide, creating a functional open space for living, working and entertaining.
Here at Windmill Windows we highly recommend using aluminium or hardwood when you’re thinking about installing Bi-Fold doors. With the complexity and folding design of a Bi-Fold door, the structural strength of both aluminium and hardwood provide a robust and smooth system that will last for years to come.
Our aluminium Bi-Folds come in three design options: The Standard, The Slim Line and The Concealed Hinge to suit whatever look you are trying to achieve. They run on a stainless steel boogie wheel assembly allowing for the smoothest possible folding action and one that will stand the test of time.
The options you have are wide with a choice of thresholds, full array of glazing, and the option of having integrated electronic or manual blinds.
As with all our aluminium systems they are all finished in a powder coated paint that is baked on for a tough and resilient finish and have the choice of a single or dual colour finish in the colour of your choice.
Hardwood Bi-Folding doors add elegance to a property with the same options as our hardwood doors allowing for decorative panels and traditional features to be incorporated. We offer four different hardwoods: Sapele (Class 3), Oak (Class 2), Accoya (Class 1), heat treated Beech (Class 1).
As with all our hardwood products, they come fully finished in either single or dual colour as you wish and can be matched to whatever colour you like, including matching all Farrow & Ball, Fired Earth, Dulux & Crown palettes.
The threshold choices and glazing choices are the same as for the aluminium Bi-Fold doors so again the choice you have for design is great.
